Towers Nursing Home, located in Smithville, TX, is requesting a therapy dog team to bring a smile to their resident’s faces!  This is a one time visit, taking place on August 26th from 2pm - 3pm.  You'll be greating residents in a group setting.

Towers Nursing Home, is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center that focuses on giving their residents’ the best quality of life possible.  This is a great opportunity for a Bow Wow Therapy Dog team certified as complex!

Not only is this a fun opportunity to visit with patients, Smithville, TX is a beautiful day trip to take with your dog!  Located about an hour and a half from Cedar Park, Smithville is home to Buescher State Park, the James H Long Railroad Park Museum, and hosts a variety of tours, including a Movie Sites Tour featuring sites from over 40 film productions.  Also, there are a few dog friendly restaurants:  Honey’s Pizza, Pocket’s Grille, and The Front Room Wine Bar.
