Support St. David’s Foundation Scholars with Pet Therapy

St. David's Foundation is hosting their Neal Kocurek Scholarship Program Study Social on Friday, April 25th for local college students who are scholarship recipients, preparing for exams. They’re looking for two complex therapy dog teams to help create a relaxing atmosphere with therapy dog interactions, coffee, snacks, and a comfortable lounge setup.

  • Event Details: Date: Friday, April 25, 2025 Time: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM (We need two teams)

  • Location: St. David's Foundation, 1303 San Antonio Street, Austin, TX 78701 (7th floor)

  • Purpose: Stress relief and relaxation for scholarship students preparing for exams. The event will feature light snacks, coffee, and a casual setting for students to interact with the dogs in shifts.

  • Number of Scholars Attending: 15-25 students (coming and going during the event timeframe)

  • Onsite Point of Contact: Corinne Pukys will be the onsite contact for the event. (512) 876-4746

Directions, Parking and Other Arrival Information:

From IH35:

1. Take the 15St exit and head west

2. Take a left on Guadalupe Street

3. Take a right on 13th Street

4. The Foundation's parking garage entrance will be on your right,


From MOPAC:

1. Take the Enfield Road exit and head east

2. Enfield will veer to the left past Windsor and turn into 15th Street

3. Take 15th Street to San Antonio Street and take a right

4. Turn left on 13th Street

5. The Foundation's parking garage entrance will be on your left.


Parking in Garage:

1. Enter the garage from 13th Street, and pull a parking ticket at entry

2. Proceed up the parking ramp, and park in any open space


Building Access:

Take the elevator from the parking garage to the sixth floor. Bring ticket to event for validation.


Exiting The Garage:

1. Insert validated parking. ticket into the parking payment machine to open the gate and exit the garage.

2. If parking validation is not provided, follow the instructions for payment at the parking payment machine.
